WNI Technology Group has successfully modernized 2,500 public lighting points in Jacarezinho, a city in Paraná with approximately 40,000 residents. The initiative involved replacing outdated lamps with energy-efficient LED luminaires. The first phase of this project began in December 2023 and concluded in March 2024.

The second phase, which commenced in July 2024 and is set to finish in September, includes the replacement of 800 additional lighting points and the construction of two photovoltaic solar plants. These plants are expected to significantly reduce the city’s energy costs related to public lighting, generating around 190,000 kWh/year. The installations will feature a 97.68 kWp system at the Jacarezinho Youth Center and a 32.19 kWp system at the Jacarezinho CRAS. Alumifix Solar is supplying the equipment for this phase.
