The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) has announced the appointment of Mr. Woochong Um as its new Chief Executive Officer. Um, previously associated with the Asian Development Bank, will lead GEAPP in its mission to combat energy poverty and address the climate crisis through a transition to renewable energy.
Established in 2021, GEAPP aims to foster a just transition to renewable energy, particularly in regions like Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Um’s appointment signifies GEAPP’s dedication to driving change and unlocking green energy opportunities worldwide.
